Return Policy

ID Card Systems strives to have a very fair return policy. Your satisfaction is very important to us!

Be sure to have your company name and order number available. We’ll need these to arrange your return/exchange. Call us at 1.800.763.9099 to set up a Return Authorization.

Opened Items

 We are unable to accept the return of the following ‘opened’ items:

  • Cards
  • All software
  • Used Card printers
  • Ribbons
  • Laminates
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Special order items

Other opened, but unused items may be returnable with a restocking fee; please contact your ID Card Systems Sales Representative.

Unopened Items

If you have purchased an incorrect or unwanted item, you may return it within 30 days of receipt. Product must be unopened, unused and factory sealed. Product returns must include original packaging, boxes, instructions, etc. A 10-25% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit – subject to ID Card Systems discretion.

Software cannot be returned for any reason.

Custom Printed Items / Special order items.

(DOA) Defective Merchandise

If you received a product that is non-functioning or defective out of the packaging, please contact your ID Card Systems Sales Rep to arrange for a return material authorization (RMA). We will do our best to replace the product as quickly as possible.

Return Procedures and Guidelines

Contact your ID Card Systems sales rep toll free at 1.800.763.9099 to obtain a ID Card Systems return merchandise authorization (RMA) form within 30 days of receipt of product. Please have your company name and order number available; we will need this information to arrange your return. All items must be shipped to the address indicated on the RMA form – unless authorized by ID Card Systems. RMA numbers must be clearly marked on all return packages. Items returned to any other address will be subject to an additional shipping fee and/or surcharge. Items must be received by ID Card Systems within 10 days of RMA issuance. Credit will be issued to the original credit card or account holder after inspection by ID Card Systems.


For your safety, please use UPS/FedEx/DHL or another insured carrier that offers tracking capability. ID Card Systems is not responsible for any merchandise that fails to arrive at our facility.

Merchandise that arrives at our facility damaged cannot be accepted and will be returned to you. ID Card Systems reserves the right to amend this return policy at any time.
